This XL knitting / crochet project bag is big enough to fit an aran weight sweater project. With the wide flat bottom and the sturdy support of medium weight fabric, interfacing and heavy lining, it will stand on its own so it's easier for you to dig in!
The front of the bag is patchwork squares in various cotton prints in shades of red and green backed with a fusible fleece. The patchwork is only on one side of the bag; the rest the bag is solid color medium weight canvas fabric. It is fully lined with sturdy weight natural color cotton duck. There are 2 inside pockets making it easier for you to find your knitting gadgets. There is a heavy zipper closure at the top. The D ring on the outside of the bag is to accommodate the detachable leather wristlet strap that will come with the bag. Please note the bag in the picture is not the one that will be shipped as the patchwork section will vary on each bag making each one unique. Fabrics used will be similar to the pictures shown. Color of zipper and leather strap will vary but will coordinate with the colors in the bag.

The last 2 photos are stock pictures. One shows the bag filled with 5 skeins of 100 gram worsted weight yarn; note there is lots of room to spare. The last picture is me holding the same size bag to show proportion. It is not the bag that will be shipped.
Care: Hand washable in warm water with mild soap. Can be machine dry in warm dryer. Take out while it's still slightly damp and use hot iron to iron out wrinkles. Please note the bag will lose some of its structure after it's been washed.
