This tote bag is perfect for your larger knitting projects. It will easily hold a large sweater project. It stands on it's own or you can flip the top over and down to create a basket that you can set down next to your knitting chair.
The bag is made with a patchwork fabric in various plaids in purple and orange with a solid color cotton duck bottom. It is fully lined with a heavy cotton canvas. The bag has a layer of fleece interfacing which gives the bag a bit of structure while keeping it soft and provide padding. Handles are made with heavy cotton webbing. There is an interior pocket and D Ring / snap clasp to pull in the bag at the top.
Please note the patchwork was not done by me but purchased as a whole cloth. Due to the design of the fabric, the placement of the print will vary in each bag.

The second last picture shows the clasp closure with the bag filled with 4 skeins of 100g DK weight yarn + 2 skeins of 50g mohair lace - notice there is still plenty of room for additional items. The last picture is only for the purpose of showing the size of the bag when it is in use. It is not the bag that will be shipped.
All bags are made in my smoke-free and pet-free home.
Bag is machine washable in warm water, machine dry on medium heat. Take out of dryer while it is still a bit damp and iron with cotton setting to get wrinkles out.
